A product of the sixties, I first drew breath on this planet in the delightful surroundings of Luton and have lived in or around the town all my life, which probably explains a lot!
The past forty years seem to have been quite busy. I was a keen brass instrument player and have enjoyed playing in many of the local Brass Bands. I also have a thing about Land Rovers and I also enjoy spending time with my family. I have two sisters and a brother. Liz ,Helen and Tom.
I brought my first computer to while away the time as waited for my leg to mend after a motorcycle accident. I was soon hooked; now many systems later I spend far too much time staring into the screen.
Another way I have employed to waste time and money is to go fishing. Along with my brother we have had some success on local canals and rivers and a great catch on a trip out at sea.
Mid 2007 saw redundancy from a job - less than 50 days from the twenty five years service I needed to take my pension at sixty, Doh... I also managed to break my back in an accident boating in my last few weeks at work, double Doh... Still I enjoyed a six month break spending time with my family. I now work for Luton Culture and can be found every now and again in Luton's libraries playing with thier computers...
